Nobody reads terms and conditions! This can be very problematic for property owners whose properties often have a number of simple facts that they need customers to be aware of. This update introduces ‘property agreements’, a simple way of listing statements that need to be agreed before a customer can make or confirm a booking. 🙌
In everyday life, terms and conditions are a protective legal bubble that businesses have to wrap around every little activity. As a result of constantly saying ‘I agree to the terms and conditions…’ we’ve all gotten very lazy about actually reading terms 😔 . The result of this is that more and more often customers miss an important fact. Failing to read simple facts can lead to owners taking bookings that they subsequently have to cancel, what a pain! 😩
Property agreements can be specified from the ‘Edit -> Configuration’ section against a property, these agreements then show up in the booking form alongside the terms and must be checked before the booking can be made. Customers whose bookings are created over the phone or manually have to agree to the statements at the same time as agreeing to their terms 😁.
This update introduces automated bounce back & complaint handling, an important factor in retaining high deliverability rates for those customers who frequently send email broadcasts. If a customer clicks ‘Unsubscribe’ from within their email client or clicks ‘Mark as Spam’ then they’ll be automatically unsubscribed from your email broadcasts.
