Yesterday the SCRUMPY team attended The Holiday Let Forum at Haynes Motor Museum. The event was a great opportunity for us to meet property owners from the South West area.
The event was aimed at property owners and was an opportunity for local businesses to promote local acitivities, experiences, products and services that owners could offer with a stay at their holiday property. Tobooka hosted the event and did a presentation on how you can increase your guest offering and attract more guests by offering experiences.
Throughout the day there were a number of presentations including; a motivational talk on the key to success by Olympic gold medallist Duncan Goodhew, a presentaiton on tax relief for property owners by PKF Francis Clark, a talk on how to get the most out of your property from holidaycottages.co.uk and a presentation on holiday let fire safety by Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
We also did a presentation on how to make the most out of your holiday property website. Tim covered many areas including; website content, landing pages, making your website search friendly, marketing, third party websites and online booking management.
