The Railway Carriage is a large, replica Brake Van Carriage with two bedrooms and a private hot tub accomodation four in comfort with outstanding views of The West Somerset Steam Railway Line.
The Railway Carriage is in a wonderful location for both short breaks and longer holidays, there is lots to see and do in this wonderful corner of Somerset from walking and riding to the Steam railway itself, Dunster and its castle , the caves at Cheddar and Wookey Hole and endless beaches to visit from the surfing beaches of North Devon to the charming Lyme Regis.
The Railway Cottage
Railway Cottage is a period, detached, stone single storey three bedroom cottage accomodation six with a private hot tub and amzing views of The West Somerset Steam Railway.
The views from the cottage are simply stunning either to the railway line itself, what could be better for either children or train spotters of all ages than the magnificent steam locomotives passing by. You will never tire of seeing these beautiful trains pass by the original gangers cottage. The stunning Quantock Hills fill the landscape and buzzards, owls and sparrowhawks can be seen majestically soaring above.
Lavender Hill Holidays
Railway Cottage Holidays is another Lavender Hill Holidays site which they have seperated out into it's own website. As Lavender Hill Holidays are already a SCRUMPY customer with a website featuring the Railway Carriage and The Railway Cottage, we simply had to share the properties across to the new website. This is included within their SCRUMPY subscription and helps to expand their reach in terms of search discovery. The calendars for the properties on the new Railway Cottage Holidays website are synced with those on the Lavendar Hill site making management easy.
