In this update we’ve applied a fine layer of polish to the system in the form of many small improvements, a couple of helpings of new functionality and we’ve addressed a number of niggles. You can now view the properties a customer viewed before making an enquiry, its easier to add chargeable extras to bookings and we’ve kicked the Availability Report up to 11 🤘 with new functionality.

Customers will often make a ‘General Enquiry’ and not select the property they were interested in, they probably lead a busy life and don't have the time to be specific  🙄 . General enquiries can be tricky to deal with when the customer is saying “I’d like to enquire about availability for the 2nd of February’ since you have no idea what property they are talking about  🤔 . We’re now including information about the properties a customer viewed before they made an enquiry, they are displayed in the order they viewed them. Hopefully this feature will help you offer a more specific response to unspecific customers  😃 .

As promised, we’ve given the Availability Report some love by adding some useful functionality  🔧 : Dates now highlight as you hover over them, we show the date your hovering over, you can focus on a specific month by hovering over the month title and we’re now scrolling the property names as you scroll along your dates. These small bits of added functionality should help make the Availability Report more useful. In the future we’re planning on adding booking information as you hover over bookings and likewise the reasons for unavailable dates will be visible as you hover over them.

Manually adding a Chargeable Extra to a booking required inputting the price for the extra, we now grab the price of the selected variant and the quantity entered to automatically input a price for you, you can of course override this by just changing the price field before adding the extra to the booking.
